In particular, the Portal is bringing about the following benefits:
Portal attracts new business for all in the maritime community
Eases congestion on the central corridor and directs business to the South East
Provides extra marketing push for all
Allows all companies to elaborate on the services they offer
Training has been provided for ICT/eCommerce and Logistics/Transport
Special studies have identified potential trade for ports
Six port companies are pivotal to the project as they are the focal point for all the diverse sectors and participants in a Port and Marine Community. The six ports are Rosslare, Waterford, New Ross, Milford Haven, Pembroke and Fishguard.
